‘Untitled Egg’ celebrates and enhances the new extension and cinema to the existing Intu Potteries Shopping Centre.
The lenticular panels hold images of fire which alternately animate on the horizontal and vertical axis, enabling 3D effects and animations when travelling up and down the two diagonal escalators, spatially defining two boundaries and one of the entrances into this connecting atrium.
The coded lighting allows password-enabled staff and the public to connect to the stand-alone wifi, download the control application and play with lighting sequences within the form.
A set pattern is triggered on the hour to mark each hour.
