ARX (Roman name for Citadel and named specifically after Capitoline Hill, where the word, Capital was derived.)

Arx was commissioned as a bespoke piece of creative play for the new play area within Grosvenor Parks refurbishment programme. The work was designed to fit around the large tree left within the designated space. I wanted to engage with the park and allow the children using the space a way in which to explore and inhabit the physicality of the tree in a safe but non-prescriptive way.
